Our Services
To Understand our Services, understand a little of who we are.
Kevin Baker’s journey took him from a high-flying career in the financial industry—first as a successful wholesaler and later as a (self-admittedly terrible) financial advisor—to the harsh reality of a prison cell.
After undergoing multiple spinal reconstructive surgeries, Kevin faced a devastating battle with opioid addiction. This struggle spiraled into depression, suicidal ideations, and ultimately a series of decisions that led to armed robberies at a local bank in January 2016. On February 14, 2016, Kevin was arrested by the Connecticut State Police and later sentenced to seven years in prison for two felony convictions of Robbery with a Dangerous Instrument.
Faced with the depths of failure, Kevin embraced a Resilient Perspective as his pathway forward. During his incarceration, and continuing after his release, he worked extensively with psychologists, addiction counselors, meditation coaches, and mental health professionals to rebuild his life. Through years of effort, he developed a framework of insights and techniques that he now shares with individuals, organizations, and corporations.
These teachings include:
Strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
Proven methods for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors effectively.
Practical Tools for Resilience: Overcoming obstacles, learning from mistakes, and fostering a mindset of growth and perseverance.
Radical Acceptance and Serenity: Embracing setbacks and challenges as opportunities for transformation, no matter the scale.

Adaptive Thinking
o The ability to shift your mindset in response to challenges, seeing adversity as an opportunity for growth rather than defeat.
o "How can I use this moment to grow or learn?"
Empathy and Understanding
o Viewing situations through different lenses—yours and others’—to foster compassion and connection, even in tough times.
o "How might others be experiencing this?"
Hope in Action
o Balancing optimism with practical steps to navigate difficulty. It’s not just thinking positively but creating a plan to persevere.
o "What small action can I take today to make progress?"
Reframing the Narrative
o Changing the story you tell yourself about what’s happening, turning a victim mindset into an empowered one.
o "What if this isn’t the worst thing, but a chance for something better?"
Enduring Strength Through Change
o The recognition that challenges are a natural part of life, and resilience means embracing change rather than resisting it.
o "What new strengths can I discover through this experience?"
